FIT FOR FITTINGS!
The ‘Fit for Fittings' campaign is aimed at customers who want to ensure that their systems are installed not only according to specifications but also efficiently, reliably and – most importantly – safely.
The SAW training (Safety At Work) we conduct in the context of the campaign is on offer to all customers, and now represents a security standard recognised and increasingly demanded in the industry.
We specially developed this training to ensure that users of Parker Fittings attain a thorough understanding of how our fittings work and how to install them correctly. This is intended to eliminate cost-intensive leakage and/or safety-critical errors.
Course participants are guided through five main units to reach this goal.
1.: Technical construction and features of the products and why they are important.
2.: The basic principle of our fittings and how they work.
3.: Tube selection and correct tube preparation.
4.: Typical installation problems, their causes and potential sources of error.
5.: Practical testing and installation of fittings.
In the final part, course participants take a practical test to train them in correct installation and teach them about potential installation errors.
We conduct these training seminars on your premises (meeting room and workshop/workbench with vice must be provided). This means you will incur no travel expenses.
Your employees' absence times will also be shorter than if we train them on our premises.
HPS supplies all materials and all necessary tools.
More and more end customers are demanding that contractors and assembly firms produce proofs of qualification, and we will provide you with such written certification. In addition, fitters who participate will receive photocard IDs that can be carried on their person. They can then produce these when visiting customers to prove they are qualified.

DISCARDING WAS YESTERDAY – TODAY WE CUT COSTS
Replacement parts or repair and maintenance kits are available for most of our valve fittings and pressure regulator fittings. These help cut costs significantly through simply replacing damaged or worn packs and valve seats with new ones. Naturally, a number of crucial steps have to be followed when making repairs to ensure that the parts work safely after subsequent reinstallation. Practical exercises teach you how to repair and maintain our products and start reducing costs by repairing and reinstalling parts safely.
